The Place To Date.com, is a family run online dating service based in Somerset, England, founded by myself and my wife in 2006.
Before embarking on the dating business, I made a pretty good living as a senior programmer and IT consultant for a large software company. It was during this time that I discovered online dating and eventually met my wife Cherry, to whom I now have a beautiful baby girl.
My successful experience of online dating inspired me to develop The Place To Date.com web community in my spare time. I wanted to recreate the positive experience that I had of online dating, and share it with other singles by providing a friendly and efficient, secure dating service with a more personalised touch.
Having met on the internet ourselves, my wife and I have the benefit of insight into what a good online dating service should provide. Apart from providing an honest, safe environment for our members to contact each other, we believe it is important that members can efficiently search other members that fit their requirements exactly. To make this happen, we created a unique life-style search facility on The Place To Date.com which has now become one of our major point's of difference compared to other dating websites.

Due to its growing popularity, my wife and I now run The Place To Date.com full time from our home in Somerset. Our member base is growing by the day and most importantly, the feedback we are receiving is fantastic! Any negative feedback is taken very seriously and personally, and we work to resolve any issues that arise. We are always open to customer feedback and are constantly updating the site to provide new features as they are requested. We are really looking forward to a successful 2007!
